About Fighters Only (host)
Fighters Only was the world’s very first mixed martial arts magazine.
In December 2009, Fighters Only held the sport’s first live Oscars’-style awards ceremony in Las Vegas – The World MMA Awards. The show was aired live via the internet and then nationally on US and Canadian television by Versus, and internationally in China, Brazil and on Scandinavian TV. This year, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the annual Fighters Only Mixed Martial Arts Awards show. With the support of the industry and its athletes, this annual event has come a long way.
As the only live event of its kind in the industry, we are committed to celebrating the achievements of the best athletes and companies in our sport.
Grunt Style is a highly motivated group of veterans and patriots who love three things, PT, Freedom and Bacon. Not in that order. We design and make our own gear in house during the week, drink whiskey and go to the range on the weekends.
Pride in self, in our military and in country.
Founded in 2012 by Matt Dryfhout, BAKblade was launched to solve the grooming problem that is removing one’s own back hair and in 2015, it became internationally famous thanks to a promotional video that went viral.
Featuring a couple visiting a marriage guidance counsellor, the video’s real star was the 800lb gorilla – aka “the husband” – in denial about his back hair problem. When the video was featured on Business Insider’s Facebook page, the company’s profile and profits soared.
It has since been viewed over 200 million times and the BAKAPE has become part of the company’s logo and folklore. Moving forward, BAKBlade continues to launch new products and a membership model that rewards loyal customers with price breaks.

MILE 22 is an intense, smart, visceral action-thriller that once again pairs director Peter Berg with star, Mark Wahlberg. James Silva (Mark Wahlberg) and his team of government special operatives do not exist. They belong to a military operation called Overwatch and are called upon when traditional options (diplomacy, military, etc.) have failed. Tasked with transporting a foreign intelligence asset Li Noor (Iko Uwais) 22 miles from the American Embassy to an airfield for evacuation, while the entire city’s military, police, street gangs are after them. Their asset, Li, has intelligence information that will prevent a nuclear terrorist attack on America. It’s a 22 Mile street war between a small Special Forces crew and an entire city with everything at stake.

Fighting at Forty
Training in a combat sport such as boxing or jiujitsu is hard work. Even harder if you start in your 40’s. Soreness, strains, bruising and a host of other discomforts come with territory. In 2015, the happily married McIntyre’s, Cameron and Nadene discovered this first hand. Suffering, Cameron and Nadene tried the popular muscle rubs, only to find they had limited efficacy and were horribly obnoxious. There has to be something out there we just don’t know of, they thought. Every coach and trainer they spoke to suggested the same old liniments. They decided there had to be a better potion, some good gunk, for people who punch…Punch Gunk.
Combat & Construction
In their effort to build better pain relief Cameron and Nadene did extensive research with combat athletes knowing these athletes endure tremendous amounts of physical damage in training and competition. Working with a renown chemist they tested every aspect. Not only focusing on effectiveness, but user experience as well. In the end, Punch Gunk is a FDA approved topical analgesic (pain reliever) with a secret sauce (proprietary formula). Punch Gunk’s Nine Natural formula contains therapeutic extracts Arnica, Aloe, Gota Kola, and Nettle that greatly improves anti-inflammatory efficacy. Unlike the popular pain relieving lotions and muscle rubs we are all familiar with, Punch Gunk is non-greasy with rapid absorption and no obnoxious overwhelming odor.
Roots & Growth
Cameron and Nadene were both raised in southern California and call Los Angeles home. Jjust like the owners Punch Gunk, LLC is a California company headquartered in the heart of the the fitness state. Calling LA home allows Punch Gunk direct access to the world’s renown athletes, gyms, coaches and trainers.
Punch Gunk has quickly gained a following. Weekend warriors, Champion boxers, champion mixed martial artists, and gold medal jiujitsu black belts are all using Punch Gunk. This is just the beginning. Cameron and Nadene have big plans for the Gunk and future products in the pipeline to aid the fighter in all athletes.
